Cindy, not that i’m complaining, but don’t you ever take a day off? Anyway i guess these t- shirts will be avail online?

    q. Of course Cindy takes a day off. She doesn’t write these blogs everyday.

As for the T-shirt, it makes Shoji look like he has a mustache.

    1. I do take a day off although the blog almost demands daily attention.
i’m off today but because the logo info was embargoed for this morning, I didn’t post until then.
I don’t have a lot of info about sales, particularly online but i’m sure there will be.
    2. i agree, not the best of logos but maybe the resolution will be better on shirts.

The reason why Shoji’s face looks dark is because when you turn a photo that had a lot of gradations of grey, into a black and white with no grey, much that was grey becomes black. You lose the softening of the grey. Hope this helps.

do hope it looks better on the shirts.
Shoji back for camp this week. goes back to watch USA men (they play Fri-Sat) then to JOs.

Some are slow noticing things but a few months ago I noticed that Jane Croson missed several matches at the end of the sand season.

My first thought was injury but AZ recently posted their 2014 indoor roster and Jane is no longer on the indoor team.Maybe he’s just going to focus on sand next year but we’ll have to wait for their sand roster.

    6. TV is running the ads. At the moment only on KFVE/KHNL. Yes, it was developed for the Hawaii market.
Radio spots are also running on 1420-AM
Not involved with when the print ads will run but they should be in the paper in the next few days.

I haven’t watched K5 in years, don’t even have it programmed on my remote.

Hope they get a good crowd after all the boasting we do about being the greatest fans on the planet.

BTW they lost to the Dominican Republic today,it was the first loss in the Pan Am Cup for them.

It’s weird. The PR firm they’re using went with ‘partners’ which tends to mean ‘exclusive. not sure if the ads will run other stations besides KFVE/KHNL, which does limit the exposure.
I know they signed a contract with the Star-Advertiser for ads which gets them ads in Midweek. And sounds like they’ll have a MidWeek cover in a couple of weeks.

Common wahine volleyball fans – let show our support to USA volleyball!! Was able to purchase my tickets same seats as my wahine volleyball. Right now, they are only trying to sell tickets to fill up the lower level first.

  13. Cindy Luis June 19, 2014 9:05 pm

don’t think that is true. upper level seats are on sale. That’s where a number of youth clubs are buying. Friends bought upstairs online today.

FYI, the USA – Bulgaria series is being shown live at NBCSN – DirectV. Early going USA is trailing in the first set.

US lost the first set 25 – 20. I heard in the broadcast that Dave Shoji is in Chicago to watch Kawika and Eric play. Kawika is setting right now in place of Micah.

  17. Cindy Luis June 20, 2014 2:51 pm

Yes, mentioned earlier here that Shoji would be in Chicago. He flew out last night after his camp. then he will be going to JOs.
