Have to complain about the refs again that last ball was clearly out no touch at all dude needs new glasses and I am pretty sure ucsb was out of challenges because they challenged four times!!!!smh

  56. Cindy Luis February 3, 2017 10:08 pm

    55. The replay showed there was a touch. That was UCSB’s third challenge. they used 2 in Set 2.

  57. jm2375 February 3, 2017 11:12 pm

Good win by the Warriors tonight. Hoping for a repeat tomorrow night.

    39. the double sub was by design to keep a tall blocker up front when UCSB’s shorter hitter was in the front row.

Pat Gasman’s serving was a present surprise. Hope he can keep it up.

  58. jm2375 February 3, 2017 11:26 pm

    * pleasant, not present

  59. Ron February 4, 2017 6:13 am

Depth and coaching paid off in this one. Charlie made some smart moves. UCSB has a great young team with hitters so this was an important win.

  60. rabbits ears February 4, 2017 1:50 pm

#59. That’s why a would vote for Charlie for the next wahines HC.

  61. Ron February 4, 2017 3:52 pm

Right on the money R.E., he can recruit the world, he gets a lot of locals to stay home, and he can coach. This is totally speculation on my part but I think a bridge has been burnt or something else is standing in the way. If his men win it this year, maybe that will change things. He is doing what he is doing with 4 1/2 scholarships, in one of the most expensive places in the world to live.

  62. tako February 4, 2017 5:26 pm

IMHO: Premature to count Dave out. By the way, what was the men’s team performance like prior to Zarkovic joining the staff?

  63. Cindy Luis February 4, 2017 6:31 pm

    62. exactly. just my opinion but i don’t think would be Wade.
as for prior to Milan, Hawaii has a long history of men’s volleyball, collegiate schedule since 79. are you specifically asking about him joining Wade?
easiest thing for you to do is judge for yourself based on the past yeas’ results
