It’s nice to see a non-MPSF team win the championship…Although it looked like the NCAA did everything it could to ensure it…

    yawn.

Loyola played no team at home West of the Rockies. Their wins against MPSF teams came at home (and their lone loss to U$C). Not an impressive non-conference resume…
Put ’em on a plane in Jan 2015 and send them to the 21st Outrigger Tourney and see how they fair.

Granted, their seniors will be gone, but they now have something to prove: Can they travel and win?

They’ve been out to the Outrigger before. But, agree, their nonconference schedule included some DIII teams and wasn’t that impressive.

IM really disappointed in Stanford, I think they choked. BYU probably would have won it, I just hate to see teams rewarded with such an easy road to the title and at home no less.

If you look at the style of play, MPSF will go with the bigger men on the net. They’ll just go with one team and that will be the team to win the MPSF. BYU this year was the MPSF champions. Loyola was a better team because they were smarter and knew Stanford and where they were going to hit. Weren’t the best team to represent the MPSF is Stanford. One 7footer and he couldn’t pull off a national title. Slow movement maybe?

Karissa/Britt lose first set 21-19 as well, to Strehlow/Dykstra, hope both pairs come back and win in three.

Hooray, Brit and Karissa pull off the comeback and are in the semifinals against Pardon/Davis of Florida State

Huge surprise LMU’s Keil/Metter win over Pepperdine’s number one team and get to the semifinals against USC’s number one team of Burnham/Hughes.
Would love it if Litara Keil transferred to UH sand team after she’s done at LMU, she’s good.
