A very interesting warmup for Stevens. they got in a huddle and it was, “Rumplestilskin who are you’ for a couple of refrains. Don’t think they’re used to being introduced either. PA announcer started introducing them. They waves from the bench, then they finally got told to lineup on the baseline.
Starting for the Warriors:
Sedore, Fey, Averill, Holt, Zarkovic, Franciskovic, Kanetake.
Hawaii up 15-12 at the TTO. Very impressed with Averill so far, as well Frankovic
Hawaii wins 25-19
So it’s official that Shoji will continue coaching next year? I never saw an announcement about that. Please clarify. Thanks.
UH up 15-12 in Set 2 at the TTO
5. the announcement would be if he wasn’t coming back.
UH pulls away 25-14. up 2-0
Thanks Cindy. It’s just that in December, 2013, Dave Shoji did make a tweet that he was staying for another year and you made the announcement yourself. So this time it was different. That’s why I was left wondering until you just answered my question. Thanks, again.
no problem. of course he could always change his mind but with the class he has coming in I think he’s here through 2015, maybe 16.
Happy New Year.
UH up 15-11 at the TTO. Leung with a monster lineshot.
Hawaii needs a couple of match points but finishes it 25-23
Nice warmup win for the Warriors. Averill 13 kills, 0 errors 21 swings. Zarkovic 9-1-22. Franciskovic set a nice match. Will see how they do against bigger blocks next week
on the bench for the Warriors as a volunteer is Spencer McLachlin, taking a break from his pro career following shoulder surgery.
Also in house tonight Carly Kan and Cayley Thurlby. No, Thurlby did not apply for the open coaching position. 😉
