Info on Cia Goods' battle with lung cancer

It was mentioned during Saturday’s telecast. Just got the info from Ryan Tsuji. She is hoping to raise $30,000. Sounds like it’s going to be a long and expensive process.

Such a sweet woman. I remember that Shaq took her out once when the Lakers were here during volleyball season. They went to Waikiki and she was so happy to be out with someone taller than her and who was getting more attention than she normally got.

Here is the link to her fundraising page

Prayers for her. One of the most underrated Wahine of all time.

I missed the telecast on Saturday. Can someone provide around when did they speak of her? I’ve always been a big fan or her play. Consistent and unassuming.

    And what a blocker.

First off, Cia you are in our prayers…definitely one of the most under rated players in UH history…remember she was a blocking beast! I will surely contribute!

On another note Emily Hartong just named All region with Nikki Taylor garnering Honorable mention. Mita Uiato and Ali Longo missing the cut with Longo rated the #2 libeiro in our region.

Sorry I’m a little young, but what year did CIA play? And was she a starter?

Brandon she started 95-97 after redshirting in 94. She played as a true freshman in 93.
