Howling, Wahine camps, Beach wins 4-1

trip

sophia

Nice chat with Howling yesterday, had a short in today’s paper.
She’s very excited about playing for Hawaii. Think she’ll be a good fit
Asked her about her height. HS has her at 6-2, someone said she was 6-3. She said somewhere in between

Greeley was her host and said she enjoyed showing her around. Very similar hair.

Someone asked about Manu-Olevao and Beach on previous thread. She left the team, think around the Haili tournament which was around Easter. Thought I had mentioned it.

Coaches must be doing some creative juggling with the scholarships. 2 departures does not equal 3 incoming. (He lost Olevao and Magill but picked up Salanoa, Sibley, and Howling.) Still, stranger things have happened.

Howling is a 2017 and not a 2016 recruit. I believe there is still two more open scholarships available in 2017.

    1. I haven’t seen any confirmation of a commit named Salanoa. Please provide your source.

2016 on scholarship are Sibley and Iosia. Smith is a walk on.
2017 on scholarship are Lipscomb and Howling.

That’s all I’m aware of and all that have been confirmed publicly as far as I know.

#3 Thanks for clarifying. I believe you are correct.

5 Beach wins 4-1. Taylor and Schreiber lost 2-1
    1. think you mean Iosia, not Salanoa

Howling is 2017. Shoji said he has one scholarship left for 2017. I know Hall will be in LA this weekend at a tournament
