As for Aloha Invitational, not as organized as it could be. Saint Mary’s arriving late today due to flight delays. Teams have luau at Germaine’s Thursday. Good luck getting out there.
    UH not playing Friday.

congrats to the warriors … Averill, Sedore, Kanetake, Siki and Jennings !!

Averill was probably right there in consideration for POY … ultimately, it’s really tough for an MB to even be in contention for POY nowadays … and UCI finishing first in the regular season standings likely clinched it for La Cavera, who is also deserving and is his team’s workhorse.

wow, if the order of the list is by vote totals … then averill just missed out on the POY…

but also, kanetake, siki and jennings were right at the cutoff line for first team.

2-3. MPSF sends it out based on point totals so yes, Averill the runner-up and the other three warriors missed the cutoff for first team. think Kanetake deserved first team for sure.
can’t argue about Zarkovic making second team since he missed part of the season.

Do you know what time the free youth clinic is on Saturday 4/25 for Aloha Invitational. I see Friday 4/24 from 4-6:30pm is it same time on Saturday?

  6. Geno Tamayo April 23, 2015 2:53 pm

Any reason why UH isn’t playing Friday?

  7. warriorfan April 23, 2015 3:12 pm

Congrats to the warriors. I think Jennings deserved first team and was robbed of it though.

Wish the match was Friday as well.

Anyone know if Hackbarth has tickets yet? We really need him to get the crowd pumped up and get on the LBSU bench, as their bench players are very disrespectful to the UH players sometimes…and i hope Alan leaves his whine glasses in Long Beach…

    6. yes have written it in several places.
there is a limit to playing dates. It’s 16. Saturday makes the 16th for UH.
    so they won’t participate friday.

    5. i’ve only seen one clinic and that was Friday 4-6:30 p.m.

Congratulations to all the players – very well-deserved honors. I hope the SSC sells out for tomorrow – that will drown out the LB bench.

I think Warriorfan should read today’s article on Hartley and then apologize to Coach Wade for whining & blaming him for the BYU losses!
