Alum vs. alum
Someone asked on another thread about who is playing.
we did not get a roster for the ‘vintage match’ which will go just one set.
they did the usual 60 minute protocol with the varsity. with the alums warming up on one side.
some people where that I hadn’t mentioned before are Jayme Lee, Lisa Strand Maa, Melody Eckmeier Studer, Waynette Mitchell. Terry Maltierre,
Kamanao and Am Mow-Santos are setting the alumnae warmup. Hewitt, Duggins, Wurts, Ka’aihue, Sanders, Bradnt, Maeda, Lee, Cubi-Otineru, McInerny

SHOULD MAKE ALUM VS. ALUM AN ANNUAL EVENT…OR MORE OFTEN WHEN THERE’S A BUNCH OF THEM IN TOWN! WITH TV B4 REGULAR MATCHES, EVEN!
Did not see last night’s match, but one of the pleasures of the alumnae matches is to be able to watch the former libero’s and defensive specialists play front row. Many of them played outside hitters in high school and many were all-conference or even all-stater as hitters. Players like Jayme Lee, Emily Maeda, and Raeceen Woolford can really hit hard.
5. Allan, it is an annual event. Some of them only came to town for this. Brandt is the one who talked Hewitt into coming. Eckmeier happened to be in town because her husband was here on business.
Most of the alumnae from the early days still live here.
