I believe that tomorrow’s RPI will be the one that the NCAA will base it’s 64 teams in the tournament.

The SID has a tough situation who to nominate for what award again tomorrow, with both Greeley and Taylor with two good matches each. Greeley could be nominated for both POW and FOW.

Re: 1 … The NCAA will release 3 more RPIs.

    1. Monday’s RPI will be the last RPI released to the public before Selection Sunday. This deep into the season, stats rarely make big moves one way or another. By this Saturday, the Selection Committee will know the results of the penultimate RPI. Then comes Selection Sunday.

2.On the Monday (usually) after Selection Sunday, the penultimate RPI is made public.

    3. Final RPI of 2014 will be released to the public after the NCAA Championship Final Four concludes.

    2. I would nominate KG for the freshman award and Nikki for the defensive award rather than the overall award because her hitting % was low on Saturday’s notable, triple-double night.

    Cindy – you were right.

The Wahine are back in the poll at #25.

UH ranked at #25. LBSU now at 16. USC is unranked.

What is the maximum number of regular season matches a team can schedule? We’re at 19-6 now with only two matches left. There are a number of teams that already have 29 or 30 matches and Western Kentucky, at #24, has 35 (30-5).

5 There is a new post about that. hope you can find it.

    7. Teams are limited to playing DATES so teams like Western Kentucky have played in tournaments where they had two matches on a single day, counts as one
Believe it’s 28 but I am checking. At one point you could exceed the limit also when playing in the AVCA Showcase.
