Looking at this picture also brings back disappointing memories of the would’a could’a SHOULD’A 2006 team. :((

UC Irvine (#3) lost to USC in 4 sets on Wednesday night at USC: https://ucirvinesports.com/boxscore.aspx?id=5874&path=mvball

#3 I think it’s true. Somebody close to the program confirmed it and her name is in the transfer portal.

It should not be a surprise. She was not really a Ah Mow recruit and doesn’t seems to respond well to Robyn’s style of coaching.

Maybe she is better off at a program with less pressure and more of a casual atmosphere. The intensity Robyn demand from her players is not for everyone.

Trinity is unfortunately, a misfit here.

Wish her luck in finding a new home. She was a good teammate and good person. Volleyball wise, she is just in the wrong place.

    1. LaBarre served his time.
    2. agree.
    USC def. No. 3/4 UC Irvine, 25-19, 25-21, 21-25, 25-18
    5. wouldn’t say a misfit. And I wouldn’t characterize it as not responding well to the coaching style.

#3, #5…I think Trinity will do well elsewhere. I think she has the potential to be a very good player. She will be a good fit at another program. Heard possibly getting Pacific Transfer, Kaitlyn Lines? She is 6’0″ 6 rotation player who made 1st Team All Conference in 2018 as a Sophmore in a very tough conference (BYU, Pepperdine. San Diego, Loyola Marymount, Portland etc.) I guess we will see where she transfers…

Lines has it narrowed down to us and two other p5 schools but its looking very good

This is just basimg on casual observation. Trinity always seemed a little down on the sidelines, and videos. Maybe thats just her personality, but from a casual viewer she didnt seem “happy”.

Will the food vendors be open tomorrow night?

    9. 10. Brandon, how is it that you have inside information on recruits but on the other hand say that you are a “casual” viewer and say that Trinity didn’t “seem happy”. Seems like you have some inside deets!

    10. I didn’t think Castaneda looked down on the sidelines. Every time we spoke she said how much she was enjoying being part of the program and living in Hawaii.
People seem to read alot into someone not smiling or not smiling when a camera happens to scan the sidelines.
    11. don’t know.
