For the first time since 2016, the Hawaii women’s volleyball team is the champion of the Big West Conference.

Three outgoing players — libero Rika Okino, setter Bailey Choy and hitter McKenna Ross — spoke to Hawaii Warrior World after the sweep and senior night ceremonies.

Cindy, Would you happen to know Kate Lang’s impressions on the evening? I did not see her on the Wahine Bench.

    1. I’m not sure where she sat, but saw her on the floor while the seniors were mingling around. Here’s what Cindy said:

Got a chance to say hello to 2020 commit Kate Lang. She really enjoyed being at senior night. Can’t wait to play here. Think she and the team will be at football Saturday. And no, don’t know who the recruit was other than she’s a junior and maybe 6-1-ish
Might be a good sign that she is wearing a Hawaii sweatshirt

There was a family city in the box which also houses the blimp and AV. I was wondering if it was the family of recruits. Would they seat them there?
