I didn’t think that Team Canada is out yet? They have two games remaining in the First Round against Cuba and then Bulgaria. I think the Top 4 teams in each pool move on?
Great news Emily will be back for her senior sand season. Re Sky, Cindy reported Sky was wearing boot, but its now off and she’s back to practice. Nature of injury not reported. However with freshman Krug emerging during Sky’s absence, Sky may be seeing less PT. But it’s good for the team. More depth in the middle only makes the team stronger. Right?

She looked great against the Cubans where her team won in 4 sets. She had 9 kills, 4 blocks, and 1 ace. She also played well against the Chinese team. You can see her beach experience paying off. It’s too bad that we don’t have a few more indoor crossovers as it seems to have really paid off for Maglio.
