Em coming back! If true, the Sandbow coaches are dancing a jig! No better competitor on the court. And her off-center sense of humor is really cool.

I didn’t think that Team Canada is out yet? They have two games remaining in the First Round against Cuba and then Bulgaria. I think the Top 4 teams in each pool move on?

Great news Emily will be back for her senior sand season. Re Sky, Cindy reported Sky was wearing boot, but its now off and she’s back to practice. Nature of injury not reported. However with freshman Krug emerging during Sky’s absence, Sky may be seeing less PT. But it’s good for the team. More depth in the middle only makes the team stronger. Right?

    1. she is coming back. Thought I had updated with Hall’s confirmation but it didn’t take.
    2. yes, it has been covered. ankle problem, if you saw her in sweats you should have also seen her with the walking boot.
mentioned yesterday that she was participating in practice and out of the booth.
All 15 are traveling on this trip.
    4. I mentioned it was an ankle injury last week and that she wasn’t cleared to play.

    5. Thanks for the confirmation, Cindy. Jeff Hall must be ecstatic. Maglio must be giving up some pro opportunities for indoor to play another year of beach with UH? She looked great against the Cubans where her team won in 4 sets. She had 9 kills, 4 blocks, and 1 ace. She also played well against the Chinese team. You can see her beach experience paying off. It’s too bad that we don’t have a few more indoor crossovers as it seems to have really paid off for Maglio.

May See Castillo on the Beach in Spring
