Wisconsin just flexed its Big 10 muscles for a great win…

    Stanford vs Minnesota

    – The passing by the OHs is much better than what we are accustomed to seeing.
    – The serving is old school.
    – The fast sets by Minnesota are keeping them in the game.
    – Neither team utilizes the middle attack to any great degree.
–Kevin Hambly inherited a talented team, interesting to see what happens after this class graduates (Plummer, Fitzmorris, Gray, Hentz, Gates).

Wisconsin has Rettke and Stanford has Plummer. Should be a good match.

Plummer is AMAZING, seems like a humble young lady also… one of the best to ever play the game. Let’s see how Hambly does post Plummer!

Wisconsin’s serving is much tougher than Minnesota’s, should be a good match.. hoping for 5 sets of championship volleyball!

    5. I agree with you that the team will take a big fall after losing four very talented seniors. Also, I think that Elena Oglivie made a mistake joining Stanford where they’ll only use her as a libero. All her hitting talents will be wasted. I recall that Evan Enriques chose Stanford thinking that it would be a good springboard to the Olympics. They made him a libero and all his hitting talents were wasted and he never made the USA team. Elena will have big shoes to fill after Morgan Heinz is gone. Her digging talents are second to none. Would love to see Morgan join the USA team.

Plummer is humble. I quote her from her post-game interview after beating Penn St., “You can execute at a high level without being showy.”
