Arena time for Wahine
Team photo got shot, originally using white jerseys then switched to dark.
We usually piggyback on UH shoot for our volleyball special insert, which will be out on the 25th, the day of first match. Always grateful to coaches and players for being so accommodating for the whims of our sometimes crazy ideas.
Team in the arena first time after some pretty hot practices in Gym I and II. AC working, actually feels a little chilly.

Howling, Lipscomb and Williams lost one inch each on the roster listed on the UH website, from what the UH listed about them in an article on Nov. 9, 2016.
I don’t get the heights listed the freshmen all look the same height or slightly taller than 6’2 listed Greeley and Sibley.
Have the injured players been cleared?

From the photo angle, looks like both Howling and Williams are taller than Shaney and Sibley by an inch. Didn’t recognize Sibley at first in the photo. Hope all the players are healthy and ready to play. This year will be an interesting peak into the future and set the tone thereof.

Still looking forward to see a line-up. I assume nothing will be set in stone during the first three tournaments but we need to beat at least 2 of the teams listed in A1 to have a good chance of hosting the NCAA opening round IMO. Maybe I am being overly optimistic but I think we will have really good team this year.
Unfortunate that the girls are playing a stronger trio of Marquette, San Diego and UCLA in the first tournament instead of Western Carolina, South Dakota and Utah who are scheduled for the second tournament.
If Burns and Greeley are not ready to go, I see besides as given Iosia, Kahakai, and Granato in the starting roles with Sibley opening at the other OH, Koelsch on the RS and Castillo switching over to MB.
I hope that this is not the photo for the cover. I see that Kenna, Angelica, Kirsten, Tasha, Kendra, Baby G, Vannah and Kaleo Baxter need a take two. lol.

#9, my guess on the photo is this was a snapshot taken while the team was prepping for a shot by another person. Notice that most of them are looking at the same spot to their left / our right.
of course it’s not the cover shot. it’s a candid i took during the photo shoot. Tough crowd.
