Reader says put Price to work
I am an employer and will pay the balance of $118,000 over the remaining year of employment. My head coach does not want him on the team. Can’t I have him answer the phones, or help the janitor, or help with minor repair work around campus?
He may be over paid for the position but what the heck, get some value. If he quits then I save the bucks.
Pay him to stay home??? Not on my watch!!

our tax dollars paid Mac to leave and do nothing for UH. Sorry but this is on Chows shoulders, cant put it all on Price. If he just quit, Im betting they would not have to pay him. If it were morals, I bet they would not have to pay him. Maybe Chow just did not like someone else wanting to be in charge, who knows. But I gotta give it to Price, he has not said a thing.
Why can’t Price be used as a scout to monitor other team’s offense and defense so Chow can come up with a strategy how to attack opposing team’s offenses and defenses??? All of these fiascos by Chow exhibit why he wasn’t chosen as a head coach for any program in the past years when he was offensive coordinator at other schools.
This is all on Chow.
I would like a job where they would pay me a whole year’s salary for job I did for only 8 months and did lousy work too!!! Auwe!!! No can!!!!
I agree with Mr. McRoberts. Let’s have him clean toilets and wash BVDs, socks and jocks for the remainder of his contract.
There’s that HUGE crack in the sidewalk on lower campus road at the corner of the 30-minute “loading” parking stalls. Maybe he could take some of that nice six figure “payoff” and get some materials and fix it?
