HNN refills sports reporting team

Collin Harmon, who has worked in Denver, Montana and most recently Eugene, Oregon, at KVAL will join the Hawaii News Now sports department, according to sources.

Harmon fills the spot opened when Mark Carpenter left earlier this month. The Phoenix native joins Francesca Weems and Taryn Hatcher on the HNN sports desk.

I don’t know Harmon’s arrival date, but figure it must be sometime before Sept. 3. That’s when his alma mater, Colorado, and Hawaii open their football seasons at Aloha Stadium.
