Week 2 of the NFL preseason is in the books. Here’s an update on some of the ‘Bows in the pros.

>> Kansas City Chiefs receiver Marcus Kemp will miss the entire 2019 season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament in the same knee suffered in Saturday’s preseason game against Pittsburgh according to The Kansas City Star. Kemp had an MRI that confirmed the injury.

Kemp was hit low after catching his first pass of the game for 27 yards. He had one catch for 9 yards in the first preseason game against Cincinnati.

The third-year pro, who went undrafted out of college in 2017, has one career catch.

>> Detroit Lions linebacker Jahlani Tavai played 21 snaps and had four tackles in the Lions’ 30-23 loss to the Houston Texans on Saturday. Tavai, a second-round pick of the Lions in the 2019 draft, told The Detroit News, “you’re never going to be in a good comfort zone and you really don’t want to ever feel comfortable. You always know there’s areas where you can improve, and tonight, there were quite a few things where I needed to be better. I need to improve in those areas to improve the trust of the defense.

“You’ve never arrived. I approach it with a mentality that there’s always room for improvement,” Tavai said. “I get irritated when they rush for 3 yards. “That irritates me. I want them to be held to zero yards, or negative yards, every play. Whatever we can do to reach that point, that’s where I need to improve.”

>> Seattle Seahawks wide receiver John Ursua was targeted two times and made one catch for 25 yards in a 25-19 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Ursua, a seventh-round pick of the Seahawks who is one of three drafted receivers trying to make the squad, has had both of his receptions so far in the preseason go for more than 20 yards.

>> Cincinnati Bengals safety Trayvon Henderson made one solo tackle in a 23-13 win over the Washington Redskins on Thursday.

>> Indianapolis Colts punter Rigoberto Sanchez finished with a nice 48.6-yard average on his five punts in a 21-18 loss to Cleveland on Saturday. Sanchez, who earlier this year signed a contract extension for $11.6 million with $3 million fully guaranteed according to ESPN, had his longest punt go for 54 yards.

I saw the Denver game and there was a Garcia Williams No 71 playing at defense end. Is that the same player from UH who was a linebacker?

Yes he was. Jerrol Garcia-Williams but he’s #52 not #71
