Here we go

This is it. WAC tournament time, where postseason dreams are made (or crushed).

I’m currently set up courtside while Hawaii warms up. Everyone is healthy, with the exception of senior point guard Hiram Thompson, who is still unable to play because of the ligament damage in his left arm.

Can UH make it 3-for-3 against San Jose State this season? We’re about to find out. It seems like the team was able to shake off the malaise that plagued them against Fresno State to end the regular season.

San Jose State has one obnoxious loud heckler. He might be their only fan in the building.

Meanwhile, UH has a few hundred fans, plus the band, cheerleaders, and dancers which really makes a difference with such a sparse crowd.

I dont understand why hiram thompson travels with the team.
it is obvious that his injury will prevent him from suiting up.
seems like a waste of money for the athletic dept to allow him to travel on the athletic dept dime.
esp since the athletic dept has a huge accumulated deficit

Seemed to have been enough. I think UH-M would do well to wait until the b-ball Men Warriors win the first game ‘fore deciding to send the whole band, dancers, etc.

We’ll see what happens w/measely Portland. Maybe these Warriors just . . . don’t like each other/don’t like playing with each other.

I mean San Jose? Come on. And the b-ball Men Warriors simply needed to SCORE it up so they wouldn’t have been in this last buzzer/decision by the zebras.

both the men and women teams can’t shoot free throws to save their souls. Prime example is B. Miles. Twice this season he missed the whole basket. Too bad guys, your great season
went south because you beat yourselves. As for the women, two years with twenty or more turnovers per game. If it happens again next year and I hope it doesn’t the writing should be on the wall
