Eran Ganot will get his hands dirty at skills camps for kids starting next week.

The first Rainbow Warrior basketball skills camp for kids under new Hawaii coach Eran Ganot is coming up quickly.

Ganot’s inaugural camp runs June 4-7 (Thursday through Sunday) at the UH athletics complex between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at a cost of $250. It’s for boys and girls ages 6-17 and of all skill levels. Registration is open through the start of camp.

The next camp runs immediately afterward, June 8-11, with a third camp running Aug. 3-6.

Besides Ganot, current and former UH players and coaches will work the camps and offer instruction.

A discount is offered by signing up for multiple camps; two camps cost $450 and all three camps are $600. Funding goes toward UH basketball activities.

For beginners, the camps are to offer all-around fundamental instruction. Intermediate players will do drills individually and in teams to refine what they’ve learned while advanced players are promised more attention to hone their games.
