If English major Solomon Elimimian gets his wish, he won’t be available to attend his UH graduation ceremony. The Buffalo Bills, for whom Elimian had a tryout this past weekend, are conducting a mini camp during the same time frame as the graduation ceremony. After a successful tryout, Elimimian is seeking a free-agent contract from the Bills. According to the Buffalo Bills’ Web site, linebacker Solomon Elimimian did well in his tryout. Elimimian is hoping to land a free-agent contract. If you get a chance, check out the Rainbow Wahine softball team’s Senior Day. The doubleheader, which begins at 2 p.m., will be shown on K5. It is being billed as “Power in Pink,” and the UH players will wear specially made pink uniform as a way to support breast-cancer survivors. Jantz plans to transfer; A.Leonard gets tryout

Sad news for the A-House household: quarterback Steele Jantz told the UH coaches he is planning to transfer. Jantz, who is in his third semester at UH, was not expected to get much playing time at quarterback. He was told he would not be invited to training camp. Greg Alexander is the starter, and Brent Rausch and Shane Austin are the top backups. Bryant Moniz is on the 105-player roster for training camp. The Warriors were back on Cooke/Ching field this morning, participating in unsupervised workouts. E-Rob gets tryout with Bills

Erik “E-Rob” Robinson has earned a tryout with the Buffalo Bills. He will participate in the Bills’ rookie camp, starting tomororw. “It’s cool,” Robinson said. “It’s an opportunity. I feel blessed. I’m going to try and make the best of it.” If Robinson does well, he might earn a free-agent contract. Agent Allan Cunanan also represents Jameel Dowlling and C.J. Hawthorne.
