Let's get physical

By Stephen Tsai on August 8, 2009

The preliminaries are over. The Warriors put on the shells today, which means the team will start hitting today. Somehow this reminds me of one of head coach Greg McMackin’s pet phrases: “Ths isn’t P.E.” * * * * * Happy birthday to Liane Yim.

Day after

Lane left training camp to tend to “personal business.” Not only does Lane have experience — he has not redshirted in his first three UH seasons — […]

But UH and Tulsa have different standards, and he did not gain admittance to Manoa. The Warriors were forced to release Stewart from the letter of intent he signed in February. Stewart is now enrolled at Tulsa, and will play for the Golden Hurricane this season. * * * * * Here’s a look at UH’s new practice shoes: * […]

By Stephen Tsai on August 2, 2009

Stutzmann, who is in charge of UH receivers, told PSU head coach Jerry Glanville he will accept the offer, which must be finalized by the school president. An announcement is likely to be made tomorrow. Stutzmann’s younger brother, freshman wideout Billy Ray Stutzmann, will remain with the Warriors. * * * * * Very happy birthday wishes to Rob25.
