Linebacker Blaze Soares said he will sign a contract with agent Wynn Silberman tomorrow, effectively ending his UH career. Soares had a slim-to-none chance of appealing the NCAA for an exemption that would allow him to play for the Warriors next next season. Dee Maggitt, a cornerback from Lakes High in the Tacoma area, told the Warrior Beat he has accepted a scholarship offer from the Warriors. Maggitt said he is 5 feet 10 and 175 pounds. He said he not been timed in the 40-yard dash, although Scout.com listed him as covering the distance in 4.55 seconds.
