She began her career as a sports journalist in Hawaii in 1981 with the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and was the sports editor, assistant sports editor, columnist and beat writer during a 31-year span before the paper became the Star-Advertiser. She graduated from UCLA in 1977 with a B.A. in Communication Studies.

Mitchem able to do conditioning stuff such as running and stretching. Greeley cleared to swing. Taylor cleared to play. Higgins looking almost 100 percent. Thursday practice update

In Gym 1 because women’s basketball then men’s basketball had the arena for practice. Taylor still not fully cleared to participate. She said she was feeling good, and better than last weekend.
