Rosenmeier-Cowell advance to Saturday’s final

Hawaii’s Brett Rosenmeier and Colton Cowell will play for the title of the USAV Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship on Saturday after advancing with Friday’s semifinal win at Hermosa Beach, Calif.
Rosenmeier-Cowell swept Quincy’s Collin Merk-Anthony Winter 21-18, 21-16 in a rematch of Thursday’s Pool B opener won by the Rainbow Warriors 2-1.The second-seeded Rosenmeier-Cowell, who finished fourth in this event last year, will face fourth-seeded Florida State’s Jon Justine-Adam Wienckowski at 8:20 a.m. Hawaii time.
winner represents the U.S. at the 2018 FISU World University Championship in Macau next August.
