Were there two best offensive player awards, or did Iosia get best defensive player & MVP?

thank you for the catch. Iosia best defensive player.

Once upon a time there was a “Most Improved” player award? 2 players come to mind: Rika Okino and McKenna Ross.

3 Yes, then no doubt, both Rika & Ross would share MIP for W11 streak.
Few thoughts: LBSU did some inexcusable mistakes that wahine did few weeks ago: no one was sure who had the right of play when ball drops in between two players- back or front player? Left or right player? Knowing the rule and practicing with verbal-screaming-call helps to save the point as well as avoid collision. Also wish to hear more verbal-screaming-alerts/calls by player with better view for 1) services or spikes sailing long or wide, 2) high tempo passes (which may needed against giant fences). Of course, very challenging to make verbal calls/alerts in fast pace games (unlike in doubles tennis).
