The first full baseball practice of the 2019 preseason took place Monday at Les Murakami Stadium.

UH was 27-24 in 2018, and 11-13 in the Big West. The Rainbows were hit hard by injuries down the stretch and lost eight of their final 11 BWC games to finish in sixth.
Here are interviews on the prospects of the coming season with 2018 closer (and now possible starter) Dylan Thomas, first baseman/outfielder Adam Fogel, and head coach Mike Trapasso, now in his 18th year.

The regular-season opener is Feb. 15 against Portland.

You sure Ross Kagawa get talent? He represents Kaua’i and is putting on the baseball uniform with his political club. Where’s the smarts also?

I think this team will finish about that again. .500 club. A bad club. Just some guy or me too.

I know who your small group is. Waimea High School. I never did miss that group. What it is? Fart. I’m from Oahu. You don’t exist. Basically. I’m tired of the politics. Les Murakami is gone.

I want to see if they’re going to make a run at KIF. Basically, they don’t exist. Your representatives from KIF are politics. Basically, for Fart.

Let’s see which politics will step in to help out the baseball stars.

They mentioned a transfer student. But that may be over by now. It’s too bad too though. Your KIF stars didn’t get spotlight at UH. In front of me and the others.

I watch also. I see if your from KIF. Got to keep that bat leveled.

Basically I like to make fun of them. I know who you are. What you do. How you think? Honestly, I don’t think you’re worth anything. But this is just baseball talk.

    Just some guy talking baseball.
