    A quality schedule.

  2. Andrew February 4, 2019 10:36 am

So two byes then? August 31st is an open date

  3. Stephen Tsai February 4, 2019 10:46 am

Yep, two byes. That’s no so bad with a bye between two Pac-12 teams.
A potential problem might be returning from Boise, and then having to prepare for Air Force.

If 2019 repeats 2018. We will be lucky to get to 7-6. More like 6-7. Come on now Coach surprise us!!! Recruiting sounds decent but it will take more than some talent.

  5. Warrior Dave February 4, 2019 11:07 am

2019 schedule is much tougher IMHO. Recruits need to be game ready for a successful season. And Rolo needs to take back playcalling again. I know that wasn’t him calling plays at the Bowl game.

Tough opening schedule but…got to do this….IMUA!
Looking for good things this year.

  7. NorthShoreFan February 4, 2019 12:08 pm

This years Super Bore LIII was….boring.

This is a real deal schedule — folks should be happy! Personally, I think we are at a great stage of our program to take on such an ambitious schedule – both from a coaching and talent level.

  9. Andrew February 4, 2019 1:00 pm

Oregon State honestly is a must win game. To stay competitive in the conference race, they need to steal one of the Nevada and Boise State road games. Arizona is a tough opponent but @ home they could be beatable.

Wow, this is by far the earliest the schedule has come out since we’ve been in the Mountain West.

Playing up in team quality speaks ver highly of the Warriors. They play good solid teams and that reflects well with the rest of the nation. Good luck and be proud of your team.

The Central Arkansas game doesn’t look so bad when it comes after 3 PAC-12 games in a row. Not to mention that they get progressively more difficult.

  14. ai-eee-soos February 4, 2019 4:34 pm

    Tavion Allen, Scottsdale CC.

    Listed at 6’00’. Wt 168 – but he looks heavier than that;

    maybe it’s a misprint.

  15. Boolakanaka February 4, 2019 4:54 pm

    T. Allen was not recruited out of HS cause he weighed in at 151….so, I don’t think it was a misprint.

I thought this past college football season was rather bland overall. I think you need a pac12 team or a mid major in the playoffs to keep college football exciting and relevant. Not sure if the pac12 is losing recruits to the south but they have been irrrelavant for few years now it seems with all that money.

Who needs road game tix for:

    9/14 at Washington Seattle TBA
    and
11/16 at UNLV* Las Vegas TBA

To sit with other friendly Hawaii fans; 2 years ago we had 550 UH fans at UNLV sitting at the 50 yard line 10-20 rows behind our Warrior bench. We are also doing a huge UH tailgate at UNLV. Email: tomkitaguchi@yahoo.com
