UH’s Elite camp … TV schedule … PRPs

The Warriors are offering a chance for high school-aged students to compete in contact sessions while learning from coaches from six Pac-12 schools and UH.

“It’s two days of instruction,” UH coach Nick Rolovich said of the 2018 Rainbow Warrior Football Elite Camp on the UH-Manoa campus. “Hopefully, everybody comes out learning something and is a better football player.”

An NCAA rule allows Division I coaches to only instruct at camps that are on the campuses of a Division I school. UH’s Elite Camp is the only camp in Hawaii that will have Division I coaches.

The visiting coaches will be from Washington State, Washington, UCLA, USC, California, Oregon, Dixie State, Adams State, Azusa Pacific and Pacific.

“It’s a full-contact camp,” Rolovich said. “For the local boy, that’s what football means. It’s not 7-on-7. It’s, ‘Let’s get down. Let’s hit, tackle, throw and catch, and play the game.”

The two-day camp will be on Friday, June 8, and Saturday, June 9.

The June 8 session is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. (registration begins at 4 p.m.)

The June 9 session is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (7 a.m. check-in).

It’s $145 if you register by today. Walk-up registration is $185.

CBS Sports Network has picked up the Sept. 15 UH-Army game at West Point, N.Y.

That means five of UH’s 13 football games will be shown nationally. CBSSN also claimed the Aug. 25 game at Colorado State and the Sept. 1 game against Navy at Aloha Stadium. An ESPN network will televise UH’s road games against Fresno State (Oct. 27) and San Diego State (Nov. 24).

No decision has been announced on the Oct. 13 road game against Brigham Young. BYU controls the TV rights to that game.

    An “accidental” one, too.
This is why you always need to tip your mail carrier.

Looking forward to seeing Max Hendrie show his stuff! For me, just like the anticipation of having John Ursua getting his start!

Really funny kine stuff about the “poaching Beavers”! Wishing them an appropriate “bachi” to the max this season! It will be so awesome for justice to happen!

Looks like the UH vs Army game at West Point on September 15th is scheduled to start at noon ET.
That would be around 6am Hawaii time.
I’ll be at the game live at West Point.
    Go Warriors!

When do the players go out on their self monitored practice? Mornings? I would be interested in watching.

Sometimes somebody or something goes out of its way to try to ruin your day-not gonna happen. How bout enforcing terms of service on rambling nonsense-not in good taste-

New NCAA transfer rule to go into effect in October will allow players to transfer if they notify their coaches and they will not have to get their coach’s permission to transfer.
It’s supposed to have strict tampering rules included.
