Joey Iosefa has one medium speed, not too much burst or breakaway ability. I think its because of foot injuries. Too bad. Very multi-skilled with pretty good hands. He threw the best pass I’ve in a game since Moniz. Good luck to him.

If Joey stays healthy and keeps his weight in the 235-238 range, he has a very fair shot of making the squad. #heisaload

Had the pleasure of speaking with Joey at an after game tailgate. He is just a super nice and humble guy. He was very appreciative of the fan support. A picture of that night hangs in my home office. Awesome Warrior!

    Wasn’t he with Patriots?

Go Canada already. Play for Jones. Maybe he won’t get as injured there as he does with U.S. football.

Joey is not a great fit for the Canadian game; quicker, smaller players, with lots of endurance are much more the norm for our neighbors up north.

    Dylan Thomas is a badass.

Down 3-0 against the leadoff hitter in the tenth, the catcher calmed him down and Thomas returned with two strikes. After fouling off three balls, he caught the batter looking.

Best pitching prospect since Mark Johnson.

Today was a good day for softball. Wahine beat UC Davis 6-0 and in the high school state finals, Leilehua beat Punahou 14-4.
