Hope Hawai`i comes out with fire tonight and steamrolls.

There should be NO excuses of having an off night with the talent Hawai`i has. A player(s) should have the responsibility to tell the coach that he doesn’t feel good or tired at least by the middle of the first game. The coach should recognize that a player is under-performing during a match and replace him with a guy who wants to be in who is not tentative and plays to win rather than one that plays not to lose. There should not be excuses. These guys practice against each other almost every day. It’s not like they just show up for the games. Second night of the UC Irvine game and now losing to CSUN the way they did… well… they need to light some sort of fire again to up their urgency. I enjoy watching LBSU and BYU. Such aggressiveness.

    Yikes. Currently 12-20 CSUN.

  3. Hot March 16, 2018 4:30 pm

    CSUN took Set 1, 25-17.

    Thank you hot
    Still at a function

UH down 16-21. Lots of service errors on both sides, except Hawai’i can’t really afford to make them.

Is it going to be another sweep by CSUN ? Whats going on with Hawaii.

  7. Hot March 16, 2018 4:53 pm

    CSUN takes Set 2, 25-22.

  8. Hot March 16, 2018 4:56 pm

Wade brings back Parapunov, who sat out the previous set, in Set 3.

    Thanks Hot
    Not looking good

Gage Worsley starts Set 3 at libero and is aced twice.

Tuileta at OH. CSUN’s Kalchev has been serving for 7 straight points, including 4 aces.

  12. Hot March 16, 2018 5:05 pm

CSUN 10-1 before UH timeout. Not pretty.

    Thank you so much

Yup, looks like another sweep in the making. This is not UH’s year. Maybe next year.

  15. ManoaFan March 16, 2018 5:27 pm

Either LBSU or BYU will win this year. Started off promising but this is NOT Hawai`i’s year. Next year? Oh but then LBSU returns all their starters, go figure.

  16. islandman March 16, 2018 5:30 pm

In the preseason, fans overestimated UH’s talent in relation to it opponents, so far.

Something is off with them , bad chemistry?
Seems like the season always inplodes after the split/ucla series happened a few years ago also, very sad.

It wasn’t even competitive :-(… It’s as if CSUN and their swagger intimidated Hawaii… The right side is key to Hawaii’s success and right now Rado isn’t living up to the hype…

The possible transfer from Arizona didn’t look like she was enjoying herself during the Penn St match… Not surprised she isn’t coming here…

  19. Cindy Luis March 16, 2018 6:28 pm

Thank you so much for the help.
    18. not sure what you base you assessment on in terms of ‘not enjoying herself.’
