Help is on the way

The Warriors are expected to be healthier for Saturday’s road game against Nevada.

Offensive linemen Dejon Allen and Fred Ulu-Perry and tight end Metuisela ‘Unga are expected to be available, head coach Nick Rolovich said. Tight end Dakota Torres’ availability will be evaluated this week. The Warriors depart on Thursday afternoon.

There also is a possibility that placekicker Michael Boyle might be involved in the game plan.

“I think Wyoming hurt more than this one just because we should have won that game against a team that elevated themselves in the conference,” Rolovich said. “This (CSU) team was better than us from the start. We didn’t help ourselves.”

    Guud Afternoon Tsaikos…Bootiful Day!

We got schooled last night by a much better team. Tht receiver will probably be playing on Sundays. He got the jets! QB looked impressive…with our help but all in all CSU is a very good team on the rise.

Anyhoo, next up..time to gt ready, get healthy and get some newbies more reps. Some of them did well and I hope they’ve earned more playing time this week.

Still miffed with Spectrum and non-delivery of the game till just about the end of the first quarter. Asked if I could cancel the game but the lady said only the sup can do that. Tried to get the sup on the call but had to leave a call back message. Still waiting for the sup to call me…..maybe they had to work on the tv outage in this area. Nothing but problems since they took over….ok pau rant..

CSU Rams are a few years head of us.
D needs a lot of work. O can get yards but need to get them when it counts.

Okay, CSU is that much better, but still the answers are not there to explain how our secondary were seemingly out of position way too often.

Looking at the numbers ($), I would say csu is decades ahead of Hawaii. That game was hard to watch.

Boise St, CSU, SDSU are definitely above and beyond the rest of the league. AF is always there so I know they will be a tough team to beat again.

Looking at what appears to be the ability to not only recruit but to teach, and then have players execute, it appears the coach Naeole seems to have the best understanding of his area. He did a good job with the past regime that continues in this. He does not get more highly regarded folks but appears to prepare them well.

He was not previously a coach, but it just appears that he has a had more success in teaching proper technique for the area of execution.

If all the other position coaches could teach likewise, maybe we could execute with more positive results.

Michael Boyle : We NEED you to ROOT the ball THROUGH the end zone on kickoffs.

    FINALLY !!!

Boyle had some good videos of his kicking before he came to UH.

  14. ai-eee-soos October 1, 2017 7:20 pm

    That is GREAT news.

At 4,500′, Michael Boyle should be able to kick the ball OUT of the end zone on K.O.

Gotta give Coach Rolo, staff their due/time to turn this canoe around, can’t just pick it up, they are turning it in the right direction. It’s gonna take a few years to get the personnel they want to play their style. Don’t hit the panic button yet!!

Kinda of disappointed in those players who were looked on to be leaders are not doing so well. But that’s on them, this is a ‘team’ sport and everyone has to be accountable for their actions for the team to be successful.

I think Legi and Abe maybe better recruiters than coaches.

Every football game is incredibly physical-if it’s not your not playing the game right. Nevada is obviously a must win situation and they are desperate for a win. Besides injuries the team that I saw at Wyoming was nowhere to be found on Saturday. If it were me I would eliminate anything and everything that would take away from the focus of winning. Mike Bobo has it exactly right regarding his expectations of his roster improve every day every week every month of the season and play the game with ev rything you’ve got-I am expecting to see the team I saw in Wyoming sans the mistakes. That’s the way you play the game-

There are two turnstiles at the main entrance.
    Only one is being used.

Why not have one turnstile for people with bags and another turnstile for people without bags.
That way, you don’t create an artificial long line.

    And for what?

    Bottles of confiscated water?

    Sad.
