UH to play Army in four-game series

UH and Army have agreed to meet in a four-game football series: Sept. 11, 2010 in West Point, N.Y.; Nov. 30, 2013 at Aloha Stadium; Sept. 15, 2018 in West Point; Nov. 30, 2019 in Honolulu. The next men’s volleyball coach — and one should be named from four finalists within two weeks — will have some added talent. Jonas Umlauft, a 6-foot-9 opposite from Germany’s Junior National team, and setters Arik Metzger of San Clemente High and Sam Biscaro of Santa Barbara High are set to join the Warriors in August. Volleyball interviews today

The search committee for the next men’s volleyball coach today will interview the five semifinalists via teleconference. The committee will ask each candidate the same list of questions. Each interview should run about 30 minutes. Next week, the finalists will be brought in for face-to-face interviews with the committee.
