Cindy Luis covers University of Hawaii volleyball for the Star-Advertiser. She began her career as a sports journalist in Hawaii in 1981 with the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and was the sports editor, assistant sports editor, columnist and beat writer during a 31-year span before the paper became the Star-Advertiser. She graduated from UCLA in 1977 with a B.A. in Communication Studies.

Only info so far from GCU is that they lost to UH 5-0. Thanks to Warrior Fan for mentioning it on another thread. No word yet on how UH fared against LMU. Looking at LMU’s schedule, I would think UH should win this on.

Looks like some switching of duos. The No. 5 University of Hawai’i women’s sand volleyball squad played on the mainland for the first time this season, splitting a pair of matches against No. 4 USC and No. 9 Nebraska at Merle Norman Stadium Friday morning on the campus of USC.
