Tyler Hadden’s graduation opens the kicking competition this spring. Kainoa McDonald, a 2014 Punahou graduate, redshirted last last season. But two familiar kickers — Joe Uglietto and Aaron Novoa — are expected to be in spring training. Uglietto, who was raised in Massachusetts, was Colgate’s starting kicker in 2011. Former UH football player Scott Harding is set to arrive in Chicago today ahead of Saturday’s NFL regional combine. “Being in Hawaii, you don’t get a lot of publicity,” Harding said. “It’s another chance to get in front of the scouts and put up some good numbers.” If Harding does well, he might earn an invitation to the March 22 super regional in Arizona.
