Cindy Luis covers University of Hawaii volleyball for the Star-Advertiser. She began her career as a sports journalist in Hawaii in 1981 with the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and was the sports editor, assistant sports editor, columnist and beat writer during a 31-year span before the paper became the Star-Advertiser. She graduated from UCLA in 1977 with a B.A. in Communication Studies.

Senior night dancing

Seven seniors came out in different colored tanks. (a rainbow) did a hula to somewhere over the rainbow, then a little bit of My Girl. Have no idea what the song is. a little funk? very cute. CSUN seniors also honored. they are going to toss balls into the crowd. actually just threw them at Shoji. ended it with Baby, Bye, Bye, Bye

Should be a good crowd although they’re expecting 30,000 at the Stadium for prep football. There will be 7 co-captains for tonight’s match. UH sent its seven seniors over for the coin flip with the down ref.
