The Hawaii women’s volleyball team was waiting on one contract, which was returned this morning by St. John’s, for its 2019 schedule. The road trips will continue for Emily Maglio. The indoor and beach volleyball was one of 18 players selected to the Canadian Indoor National Team. Maglio, who most recently earned AVCA All-America honorable mention honors in beach volleyball earlier this week, will be competing with Team Canada at the Challenge Cup — a continental pre-qualifier for the Volleyball Nations League to be held in Chateaugauay, Quebec — from May 31-June 2. Hawaii’s Rado Parapunov (Bulgaria) and Stijn van Tilburg (Netherlands) were named to Off The Block’s All-Euro collegiate team.
