Hawaii (27-2) has earned the top seed in the NCAA men’s volleyball tournament, it was announced today on NCAA.com. It was the first time the Rainbow Warriors have been the top seed in the national tournament. Now that spring indoor practice is done, Rainbow Wahine rising senior setter Norene Iosia will join the Hawaii beach volleyball team officially as of today. She was on the beach team for a bit in 2017, going 10-3 with Hannah Zalopany between March 10 and April 2. Hawaii has its inaugural “Alumnae Salute” exhibition starting at 1 p.m. Saturday. The SandBows then go for their fourth consecutive conference title at the Big West tournament April 26-27 at Zuma Beach, Calif.
