Hawaii opened beach volleyball practice officially today. They had team picture and workout on Wednesday. Emily Maglio got in last week. Kyra Hanawahine, a Kamehameha Schools grad, has transferred from Oregon. She was not cleared to play in the NCAA tournament. She joins Jolie Rusmussen as a former Duck to Manoa; Rasmussen’s transfer was announced on Dec. 25. Hanawahine, a defensive specialist, will have two seasons at Hawaii.
