The Cincinnati Bengals, Oakland Raiders, Kansas City Chiefs and Washington Redskins have shown the most interest in former UH running back Joey Iosefa. At the NFL Scouting Combine, Iosefa topped all running backs by bench pressing 225 pounds 30 times. In the 40-yard dash today, he ran 5.04 seconds on his first attempt, 5.02 on the second. The Warriors’ walk-on tryouts have been moved from today to March 5. But running back Casey Lambert of American River College won’t have to wait for a slot on the Warriors’ spring roster. Lambert, who transferred to UH in January, is participating in the offseason conditioning program and is set to compete in spring training. Lambert is 5 feet 10 and 195 pounds. Former UH running back Joey Iosefa is scheduled to arrive in Indianapolis today for the NFL Scouting Combine. For Iosefa, the activities start tomorrow, with an orientation session, X-rays and interviews with teams. There will be medical tests and more interviews on Thursday. The psychological exams and bench-press tests are Friday. Field workouts, including the 40-yard dash, is set for Saturday.
