Was unable to make it to Monday’s practice, which was the first with school in session. They are back in Gym 1 at least until Wednesday morning. Either Wednesday or Thursday they’ll return to the Sheriff Center where they’ll hold afternoon practices and establish the usual routine for weekday matches. As mentioned, the team had one practice today (8-23). They had a team outing to the beach and lunch. The also had a potluck dinner at the Shojis following practice. Not sure how the aforementioned brownies turned out. My understanding it was a Goodman family favorite made with brownie mix, Oreo cookies and chocolate cookie dough. Back to practice. That means she will sit out the San Diego match the first weekend and UC Riverside Sept. 29.
