Cindy Luis covers University of Hawaii volleyball for the Star-Advertiser. She began her career as a sports journalist in Hawaii in 1981 with the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and was the sports editor, assistant sports editor, columnist and beat writer during a 31-year span before the paper became the Star-Advertiser. She graduated from UCLA in 1977 with a B.A. in Communication Studies.

Shoji is scheduled to be on around 8:03 after the traffic report. People complained the last time that they didn’t get a chance to ask Shoji a question, which isn’t really the format of the morning show. ESPN3 matches & booster club fundraiser

Today unveiled its 15-event fall schedule on ESPN3, which commences on September 25 when UC Davis travels to Long Beach State for a women’s volleyball matchup. Eleven women’s volleyball on the all slate in the third year of a collaboration between the Big West and ESPN to produce up to 60 events annually on ESPN3.
