Tita Akiu is leaving tonight for the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. She is one of 45 liberos competing for a spot on one of the U.S. national and collegiate national teams. “I’m really excited,” she told me this morning. “A goal is to play overseas.
