Several Warriors will attend Summer Session II, which begins on Monday. Many will stick around until the start of the July 26 start of training camp. And some will return to the mainland to visit family and work out on their own. The Warriors will have a week off from […]

Maka played two years at UH, earned a degree in mathematics, and enjoyed a substantial career in arena football. It all started with Maka’s desire to join the Warriors primarily as a specialist. Everyone has a role, and UH offered Maka a scholarship to set wedges on returns and dismantle blocks. Through the years there have been many Warriors whose best roles […]

By Stephen Tsai on June 25, 2017

The Queen Lili‘uoklani Trust and UH athletics did a cool thing, collaborating for a sports clinic for 80 students of Hawaiian ancestry. They spent Saturday on the Manoa campus, listening to inspirational speakers and participating in activities with the football, soccer and women’s basketball teams. * * * * * * Brian Smith, receivers coach Kefense Hynson and safeties coach Jacob Yoro attended today’s USC camp.

Successful evening at Aloha Stadium

One of the best team-building experiences is the PRPs — player-run practices. It’s intriguing to watch player step up to lead drills and sessions. Here are some pics from yesterday’s PRP (with apologizes for the blurriness and darkness. I had problems with the distance and that West-sinking sun.) * * * * * 808 Passing Academy’s FREE camp for quarterback and receivers is this evening at Aloha Stadium. Details are here: 808 Passing Academy * * * * * And […]
