Slotback Melquise Stovall was one of Hawaii’s most productive players in blowout losses the last two weeks. One of the Mountain West Conference’s top returners is no longer on the University of Hawaii football team. Congrats to Hanna Hellvig, the Big West Freshman of the Week. Hellvig claimed her third such honor after leading Hawaii to a pair of victories last week. The 6-foot-2 outside hitter had a team-leading 26 total kills for the week as the Rainbow Wahine swept UC Riverside and upended UC Davis in five sets on the 25th anniversary of the Stan Sheriff Center.
