Hawaii has signed 6-2 setter Mylana Byrd, who is transferring from Alabama. She is enrolling at UH this spring and will have two seasons to play beginning in fall. From UH: In her two seasons at Alabama, Byrd played in 158 total sets with 844 assists, 81 digs, 80 total blocks (15-solo/65-block assist), and 71 kills. Hawaii sophomore safety Khoury Bethley was named to the Associated Press’ All-Bowl team, a collection of players that included every FBS postseason game except the upcoming College Football Playoff national championship between LSU and Clemson.
