Junior setter-hitter Norene Iosia had her fourth triple-double of the season, her second straight, and senior opposite Angel Gaskin added 12 kills as Hawaii defeated Long Beach State for the fourth straight meeting, topping the 49ers 25-22, 25-19, 23-25, 25-20 in a Big West volleyball match tonight at the Stan Sheriff Center. Quarterback Cole McDonald has been added to the watch list for the Maxwell Award. The award, which has been presented since 1937, goes to college football’s most outstanding player. “That’s cool, I guess,” McDonald said. “I don’t know much about it. I don’t really look at awards.
