Junior setter-hitter Norene Iosia had her fourth triple-double of the season, her second straight, and senior opposite Angel Gaskin added 12 kills as Hawaii defeated Long Beach State for the fourth straight meeting, topping the 49ers 25-22, 25-19, 23-25, 25-20 in a Big West volleyball match tonight at the Stan Sheriff Center. The award, which has been presented since 1937, goes to college football’s most outstanding player. “That’s cool, I guess,” McDonald said. “I don’t know much about it. I don’t really look at awards.
