The Warriors’ leading tackler — linebacker Jahlani Tavai — is expected to miss this coming week’s road game against Fresno State. “I don’t think he’ll be with us this week,” head coach Nick Rolovich said following today’s two-hour practice on the grass field. Allen, Thomas take shot at G League

A couple of former Rainbow Warriors are attempting to take their games to the NBA G League. Forwards Noah Allen and Mike Thomas are on training camp rosters for two teams in the G League (formerly the D-League), the NBA’s up-and-coming minor league that now features 27 franchises. For carrying her team the closest it’s ever been to Big West tournament qualification at this point in the season, soccer senior Raisa Strom-Okimoto was honored by the Big West as the conference’s offensive player of the week on Monday. “Athlete” commits to Warriors

In a text to the Warrior Beat, Steven Fiso of Faga’itua High in American Samoa confirmed he has accepted a scholarship offer from the Warriors. Fiso said he plans to ink his commitment during the NCAA’s early signing period, which begins Dec. 19. Fiso said he is 6 feet 2 and 178 pounds.
