Makana Garrigan, who served as a Nevada graduate assistant coach in 2015, is joining the Warriors’ coaching staff as an intern. Garrigan will be the third intern on Nick Rolovoch’s first staff, joining former Warriors John Estes and Marc Moody. Garrigan, a graduate of Case Grande High, was recruited to Nevada as a wide receiver. But his playing career was abbreviated because of injuries. Marc Moody, a Saint Louis School graduate who was Pacific’s defensive coordinator the past football season, is set to join the Warriors as an intern on defense. Moody was a UH linebacker for a year before transferring to Saddleback College. He then played for Pacific’s resurrected football program in 2010 and 2011. Former UH offensive linemen John Estes has joined the Warriors’ coaching staff as an intern. Estes replaces Ramsen Golpashin as top assistant to O-line coach Chris Naeole. In 2015, Golpashin was a graduate assistant who served as interim line coach for the final four games. Golphashin is now with Oregon, his alma mater.
