Just before the midpoint of the 2019-20 season — and the start of Big West Conference play — Hawaii basketball coach Eran Ganot has officially returned from his medical leave. As Stephen Tsai notes, he stepped away for 51 days, although he’d made increasingly frequent appearances in recent weeks. The specifics of his condition were not disclosed. The Hawaii women’s volleyball team was ranked No. 15 in the final American Volleyball Coaches Association Division I Top 25 poll on Monday. The Rainbow Wahine (26-4) were at No. 18 heading into the NCAA tournament where they were the 12th seed.
