Wahine to play in Duel in the Desert

The University of Hawaii women’s basketball team’s nonconference schedule will include a December road trip to Las Vegas to face Texas A&M and Oregon in the Duel in the Desert, UH announced on Wednesday. The Rainbow Wahine face Texas A&M on Dec. 20 and Oregon on Dec. 22 at UNLV’s Cox Pavilion. Both games tip off at 10 a.m. Hawaii time. UH will compete in the Desert Division in the six-team event. New job keeps Larsen on the move

Since being hired to fill out the Rainbow Wahine basketball team’s coaching staff for the 2017-18 season, Darron Larsen hasn’t had much time to settle into his new office. Locke, Randle join Wahine hoops staff

The Rainbow Wahine basketball team’s revamped coaching staff is taking shape. After the departures of last year’s associate and assistant coaches, UH head coach Laura Beeman announced the additions of Courtney Locke and Berry Randle to the program on Friday. Beeman said she hopes to have the third position filled by the end of the month.
