Eran Ganot and the Rainbow Warriors took a break from the day-to-day grind of practice to visit the Clarence TC Ching Hope Lodge on Friday.
The nonconference season comes to a close tonight when Hawaii takes on Delaware State at the Stan Sheriff Center.
UH (5-7) put away Southern Miss 60-46 on Christmas, keeping the Rainbow Warriors from going winless in the event and finishing in last place for the first time in the eight years of the DHC.
UH will need something approximating its best effort against Utah — basically the opposite of Thursday’s loss to Illinois State.
Time to find out if that two-week break served the Hawaii basketball team well.
